SECONDO virtual meeting

SECONDO researchers (Aristeidis Farao, Evangelos Kotsifakos, Panagiotis Kanakakis, etc. ) organized a virtual meeting on 28/4/2022 where the participants presented the progress regarding the tasks T5.2 “Cyber insurance policy ontology” and T5.3 “Cyber insurance estimation and smart contracts”.

Regarding the Task 5.2 the researchers presented the technical progress and discussed the technical difficulties they met. In particular, the researchers have already successfully designed the ontology as well as they have already developed the part that is responsible to extract the coverages from each cyber insurance contract. The same approach will be followed by them to develop the part that is responsible to extract the  exclusion from each contract. During the next virtual they aim to present a demo.

Regarding the Task 5.3, the researchers have already started analyzing the existing related work isolating factors that play an important role in the contract pricing. The implementation is in the beginning phase. However they have planned their next steps that will be discussed in the upcoming meetings.

Furthermore, the authors prepare scientific papers based on the SECONDO results to submit in the well-known and high-impacted conference entitled ARES. SECONDO together with the following successful and well-known EU and national research projects SealedGRID, INCOGNITO, NetPhish, ERATOSTHENES, CyberSec4Europe, PHYSICS, EVOLVED-5G organize for the second consecutive year the 2nd IWAPS workshop with deadline on 02/05/2022.
