SECONDO in the 6th InsurTech Conference

The SECONDO project was a supporter of the 6th InsurTech Conference. The conference occurred on 26/1/2023 in the Sofitel Athens Airport.

Prof. Christos Xenakis, the Project Coordinator of the SECONDO project, was there and presented the emerged challenges in the field of cyber insurance. His presentation included the following key points:

• The cyber insurance motivation
• The cyber insurance processes
• Well-known cybersecurity attacks, where the Insurance Company reject the reimbursement or the there was partial one.
• The existing cyber insurance challenges.
• Technologies to address the challenges.

There was a fruitful discussion between the speaker and the audience. The SECONDO project aims to deliver a holistic cyber insurance platform aiming to address the existing cyber insurance challenges via well-known technologies such as Blockchain and Smart Contracts.
