Research methodology Course on CSDP – EU as a Security and Defence Actor

Prof. Christos Xenakis, the coordinator of the SECONDO project, attended the Research methodology Course on CSDP – EU as a Security and Defence Actor, provided by the European Doctoral School on the Common Security and Defence Policy and was part of the panel regarding Cyber Security. The course was successfully held in Piraeus between 14 and 16 March 2022 with active participants and excellent results. The of the course was to raise awareness of the importance of security in various aspects including but not limited to cyber, geographical, and economic among the EU. In particular, Prof. Xenakis presented, in brief, the ultimate goals SECONDO project and its technological outcomes. Moreover, he emphasized the ways that the EU can utilize the SECONDO outcomes strengthening its power to defend against future cybersecurity attacks.
Apart from Prof. Xenakis, the former secondee Aristeidis Farao participated having discussions with other researchers related to SECONDO prospects, challenges, and future directions.
