The 2nd IWAPS workshop was Successfully Completed
The 2nd International Workshop on Advances on Privacy Preserving Technologies and Solutions (IWAPS 2022) was successfully completed on 25.08.2022 keeping the interest of the participants but also the listeners undiminished, until its end.
The SECONDO project together with SealedGRID, INCOGNITO, ERATOSTHENES, CyberSec4Europe, PHYSICS, and EVOLVED-5G, other European projects, as well as with NetPhish (funded by Operational Programme Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2014-2020) co-organized the 2nd IWAPS workshop. The conference agenda included topics on keynote talks and sessions related to the Cybersecurity sector. Based on the rich agenda content, was given the opportunity for discussion on contemporary issues that concern everyday life business and individuals but also with a view from the future of technology. Towards the end of the workshop, the founders (European Projects) were presented, and the members discussed issues related to security in the modern digital world through interest talks.
This workshop aims to strengthen security and privacy through research and relevant activities in the models and design of secure, privacy-preserving and trust architectures, investments in cyber-defense, data analyses, fusion platforms, protocols, algorithms, services, and applications for next generation systems and solutions. We especially encourage security and privacy solutions that employ innovative machine learning techniques to tackle the issues of inspecting large data volumes, cyberattacks, and variety problems that are systemic in IoT platforms, theoretical and practical challenges related to the design of privacy-preserving AI systems and algorithms and will have strong multidisciplinary components, including soliciting contributions about policy, legal issues, and societal impact of privacy and affect the cyber risk of the participating entities.
