SECONDO on the 3d Ciir Conference 2021

On the 11th of November 2021 Prof. Christos Xenakis, as Coordinator of the SECONDO Project, was invited to participate and moderate the panel on «Cyber Risks Management & Cyber Claims» in the 3rd Cyber Insurance & Incident Response Conference which was held virtually.

The Professor had the chance to present the general goals of the SECONDO project and analyze the impact of the project on SMEs and large organizations. Furthermore, he presented the most recent technical achievements of the SECONDO projects. Based on the recent developments the Professor presented the crawlers where developed during the SECONDO project and are aiming to collect specific keywords from social media and particularly from the Twitter network and as well as to gather security-related data from the Dark Web; this is part of the submitted D3.2 deliverable.

Moreover, he presented how the SECONDO platform aims to utilize and integrate the blockchain advantages into its internal processes. Apart from the aforementioned presentations, there was a fruitful discussion with experts and professionals from the cyber insurance field. Overall, the SECONDO team is grateful for participating in this event.
